Since its formation in 1976 the Guild has raised the profile and standard within UK taxidermy . They are now a respected body, regularly consulted and asked to contribute over a range of issues from legislation to media interest.

The Guild orgainises seminars and lecturers to promote taxidermy and the skills of the craft.

They also produce an annual journal that is full of interesting articles, modern taxidermy techniques and space for advertising by supply companies and members alike.
