Delivery and Returns
JHT Supplies delivery costs are based on the total weight of the order, the shipping destination and the value of the order. The current delivery costs can be seen here.
In some circumstances a surcharge may be applicable due to weight, destination and/or order value. Any surcharge will be detailed along with the delivery cost on the Basket or Checkout screens.
For PayPal orders, JHT Supplies asks for the shipping destination to be entered at Checkout to determine delivery costs. If the delivery address selected within PayPal differs from the selected shipping destination, the order may be subject to different shipping charges, or may be cancelled if shipping is not available to the selected Paypal delivery address. In this case, the customer will be contacted prior to any further action being taken.
If you have any special delivery instructions that are not covered by the order process on the website please contact us before placing an order.
Terms and Conditions
JHT Supplies is not liable for any orders that take longer to deliver than suppliers estimated delivery. Customers accepting deliveries do so at their own risk. Any deliveries made where the recipients are not at the delivery address to accept the delivery will incur a return and re-delivery cost.
It is your responsibility to ensure adequate access for the carriers. Please note that shipping times are approximate and we can in no way be held responsible for delays caused by third parties, such as suppliers or carriers, nor any consequential loss incurred.
Any shortages, damages or incorrect orders must be reported to JHT Supplies within 24 hours of delivery.
JHT Supplies complies with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2014 which states that the consumers have the right to a cooling off period of 14 working days after the goods have been received.
However, JHT Supplies will only give a refund if the consumer complies with the following:-
- The customer confirms their right to cancel to JHT Supplies in writing within 14 days of the receipt of the goods.
- The customer must take care of any goods that have been supplied until they are returned to JHT Supplies in their original condition and packaging.
- The consumer must make the goods available for collection by JHT Supplies within 14 working days.
Goods that carry a manufacturer guarantee which develop a fault within the guarantee period will be inspected by JHT Supplies prior to any refund or exchange been given.
All customers must comply with any assembly or care instructions provided by the supplier.
Should you purchase an item that is unsuitable we will offer a full refund or exchange if returned within 14 days, ‘as new’ in its original packaging. ( accompanied with your receipt)
Damaged or Faulty goods will be refunded or exchanged if returned within 28 days of the date of purchase. ( accompanied with your receipt)
Please Note Products delivered to the customer, then deemed not suitable. The customer will be incur a collection charge or be responsible for returning the product to JHT Supplies at their own cost.
Damaged/Faulty products may be collected and replaced ‘Free of Charge’ by JHT Supplies.
Call us on 01443 441529 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. When we receive your request we will e-mail a returns reference number to you. Whether you choose to do this via e-mail or over the phone, it must be done within 28 days of the purchase date.
Once the goods have been returned to us, we’ll inspect them and then arrange a refund using the original payment method. Please note that the time it takes to re-credit funds to your bank account depends on your bank and could be between 2-10 days.
